Here is a two page summary of the slides for the 2024 St Andrews Psychology Virtual Visiting Day

And a two page summary of the B.Sc. Neuroscience Programme

I’m a Senior Lecturer (Education Focused), in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience and have been here since 1992. Prior to that, I left school at 16 and worked in a coalmine for 7 years (well six really as I had a year on strike). I did my degree at Sunderland University in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy and then worked in Mental Health for a couple of years as well as some anti-racism projects. I’m interested in research methods teaching, critical reasoning, science communication and Growth Mindset as well as having a great deal of involvement in our Outreach activities.
