Reading Party
Junior Honours Reading Party 2026, 9th October and 10th October.
Every year barring COVID (for at least the last 50 years) staff and students have headed off to the Highlands to meet in an informal setting. There is a combination of fascinating talks, invigorating walks and social activities to make you feel even more a part of the School. If you have any questions, please contact Paul Gardner (plg). I will update you on our guests but they include Dr Eric Bowman, Dr Ken Mavor, Dr Simon Columbus and Professor Josep Call.
We’ll take half the year on Friday 9th October leaving at 13.15 by coach from St. Mary’s Quad and head up to Loch Insh. The other half of the year, Group 2, will leave St. Mary’s Quad at 09.30 on Saturday 10th October to join us for a couple of hours until group 1 depart at 15.00. Group 2 will leave on Sunday 11th October at 11.00.
This trip is heavily subsidised by the School so we are asking you to pay half the cost £50 (if anyone needs any help with this please contact me). You will be able to book through the University shop using the links below – make sure you book the correct day as I have no control over this at all!!
